The New Randoms.

I know I am posting just rather random thoughts for I am really silly and happy these days. So let it flow. Silvia and I set out the other day on the bus for Philly. Her man was performing with Mars Volta. They happen to be on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Spankrock was opening for Beck. So there were two events that seemed way more entertaining than NY.
We went straight to the Wacovia Spectrum to see the show. Went backstage and I made the chef prepare me a fried banana complete with limes and honey. 2 shots of Patron later, a vaporizer and some laughter it was perfect. Silvia got to catch up with D. I ran into Timbo and his mate. We watched a few songs that the Chili Peppers were doing. Flea did his bass solo. Timbo then had to ruin it by noticing what the crowd at this show looked like. 13 year old boys with their dads. Ok, cool, whatever man.
Next we went to the Spankrock afterparty at Bamboo Lounge. Saw JayYo, Pase, Tommy, Naim, the lovely Amanda, Liz, Dirty South Joe, Caps and Jones. Pase made me dance. It was fun. We all danced. Passed out in the truck. Still have crummy sleeping patterns. Woke up at 8 am. Started breakfast off with a PBR and some croissants. Then had a business meeting at the Park Hyatt with Tommy. It went well. Then had sushi, emailed, watched Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Jacob's Ladder, Get A Life, Fight Club, with Silvia. Went to Siam Lotus for some ambient pop and art films. Burned a bunch of tunes that John and Erin made. Next time you are at a thai restaurant. I highly suggest some thai iced tea with vodka. Sugar highs are amazing.
"Cum-uber." Wow. New phrase I read in an article to describe Mark Ronson. I think its the worst phrase I have heard describe anything in a long while. Finally back in NYC and its good to hear the crickets chirping in my room again. I am going to write some treatments for videos tonight, tomorrow and pass out.
