Brighton Beach Nadia's Birthday.

So the next night after my birthday, I was recooping on my bed in my sweats. I get a call from Nadia. Its her birthday as now and at the last minute she wanted to put together a birthday dinner in Brighton Beach. Of course I agreed, I will never pass up a dinner party for a friend. Especially one with seafood. So off I went immediately to meet up with the troopers.

We went to this strange Russian restaurant called Primoska. It had a disco theme, and space butterflies. Complete with lounge singers! We had a Chinese tranny singing Russian covers of Ricky Martin tunes! It was genius. Nadia looked beautiful in red. Danced with the elderly group next to us who were also celebrating a birthday. Drank a bottle of vodka. Ate crepes, too much cheese, everything had cheese, caviar (ugh..not doing that again), salmon, more salmon, shrimp, more vodka. I had an admirer. One of the server's who could only speak Russian, was always making eye contact and sitting at the table behind us staring. He asked Nadia in Russian how old I was. She lied and said I was 22. Sweet.

Constance and I ended up sprinting to the sea shore. The rest of us did leaps and sprints along the coast line. The water was really warm. I lost my sidekick3 in the ocean. Too drunk, I suppose. Then we went to see Eugene from Gogol Bordello. He spins at Midway every Thursday on Avenue B. Two girls stole Constance's coat. I think I have them in this photo with Eugene in the background. At that point, I was sobering up and upset that I lost my mobile. So I think that was a wrap for me. I needed rest and I passed out at Constance's place in Williamsburg.
